Cold weather running can really take a toll on the body if you aren’t careful. The best advice we can give you is to prepare yourself for the changes your body will go through and always listen to your body. Don’t push yourself past the limit with cold weather running because you could end up injured or in harm’s way.A lot of the time beginners think you need to wear a lot of warm gear, but remember that you will be heating up as you run, so you probably don’t need the big winter coat. Don’t worry too much about building your speed during this time; cold weather running is more about maintaining what you’ve already built. Also, remember that hydration is still very important even in the cold weather.
